Customers are still King in the time of COVID

The Novel Coronavirus is at the top of everyone’s mind. Countries, states, and cities had to decide how to respond to the pandemic. Then businesses, organizations, schools, etc. were forced to follow suit. Many faced mandatory immediate shutdowns. Others were left with no idea how to shift their products and services to meet the current environment.

Most customers are following strict shelter in place guidelines, so it’s essential to figure out if your business or service can apply to the current climate. And if not, how can you pivot and adjust to meet your customers current needs.

I have written some COVID-19 corporate statements and altered a few non-profit fundraising programs to address the pandemic. The long and the short of it is, we are all in the same boat, so don’t feel like you have to reinvent the wheel. There are already many great examples of businesses, organizations, schools, etc. that are meeting the moment with meaningful messaging, great customer service, and innovative strategies.

Stay present, stay active, continue talking to your customers, and watch the competitive marketplace for ideas, approaches, and yes, even support.
