JAC Marketing Associates is comprised of a lot of talented people in consumer marketing and communications, some of whom work independently for a variety of industries, and some of whom are industry specific. Our management worked specifically in education marketing for a number of years at both the K-12 and university levels.  And through the years, we've met and worked with some of the best and brightest.

Starting Fall 2018, we'd like to pull that talent together for you ... introducing JAC Education Group.

If you just read the headline of this post and thought, IS THERE confusion over content marketing? I'm not confused ... Then good for you. You can just stop reading now.

For the rest of you ... don't feel bad. It's one of those things that's just been happening for a long time, but nobody identified it as a thing.  And sometimes when things don't have names, people can't readily identify it. They don't have anything to call it, so it seems elusive.

The term "content marketing" loosely entered the lexicon of marketing terms around the turn of the century.  And really, mostly people working in advertising, media and consumer marketing were the ones using the term. It grew exponentially over the early  2000s.  Now, no matter what business you're in, you probably at least know you need to be doing content marketing.

Our niche is simple ─  "we're a small team with big ideas." We don't want to be a large firm with dozens of employees in a super hip urban office space.  We don't want to completely take over your marketing efforts.  We want to be small, flexible and agile. Rather, we want to work closely with you, to lend our expertise to your existing marketing efforts. The idea is to help you create an integrated Marketing Plan that serves as a foundation for all of your marketing efforts and focuses your resources and budget on areas that are most likely to resonate with your audience and help you meet your goals.

As the end of 2017 grew nearer, I started thinking about my independent consultant work. A little over a year ago, I stepped away from an employment situation and started working on my own as an independent marketing consultant. For the last year, I have worked closely with a few long-term clients on go-to-market strategy,  content strategy, communication efficiencies and social media management. And while I love working on my own side by side with my clients, there are so many talented marketing and creative people I want to work with and bring into the fold. Through my years as a Marketing Director, I've had the honor to work with some amazing people - designers, writers, strategists and researchers that I would love to continue working with.

With the start of the new year, I have decided to create and launch a new marketing consultancy - JAC Marketing Associates. The JAC is me, Jennifer Ann Charron and the Associates are all the talented people I've worked with through the years. We're jazzed to strike out as a team and bring all our years of experience to companies and organizations that need marketing and communications help.
